First debuted at the W Austin, followed by W San Francisco and W Seattle, each TRACE restaurant captures the vibrant, local personality of their locations while focusing on “traceable” ingredients and high-quality, conscious cuisine. Each venue does its part in cultivating key relationships among local growers, purveyors and artisans. The W guest is looking for a tailored culinary experience that reflects the culture of each city they visit.  In addition, conscious cuisine is an important value to our brand, something we further and support through each TRACE location.

Concept

TRACE Atlanta is a farm-to-table take on the Southern dining experience featuring classic and modern twists on New South favorites. By using “traceable” ingredients from local farms to create these Southern-inspired dishes, the restaurant connects with the immediate community and provides the freshest sourceable fare. The design as well reflects a whimsical take on farm-inspired décor in a relaxed and approachable environment.

Chef

Born in Atlanta, Chef Shean Suter’s career has spanned the nation but his heart lies in Southern cooking. From a stint working in Carmel, Calif., he was inspired by the relationships that chefs forge with farmers. As the executive chef at TRACE Atlanta, Suter combine his love of Southern cuisine with his passion for tapping into local farmers to manifest the TRACE Atlanta philosophy of fresh and healthy farm-to-table cuisine.

TRACE Atlanta will serve a farm-to-table take on the Southern dining experience featuring classic and modern twists on New South favorites with ingredients sourced from local farms to create a menu steeped in tradition. In addition to its Southern-inspired menu, TRACE Atlanta will have a full bar menu with cocktails and beer.
